Reviews for Presto CoolDaddy Electric Deep Fryer (Kitchen) Works exactly as marketed, have had no issues. Fairly simple to setup. Easy to clean up compared to frying in an kick off skillet and having to clean all the work area. Actually, little or no needs cleaning, just the basket, the insert and the within of the lid, and unless you spill oil on the skin of the fryer, there's nothing to clean on the outer shell of the fryer. Really good feature, having the flexibility to put the meals within the basket and closing the lid prior to lowering the basket into the oil, totally eliminates the danger of hot oil burns. Very pleased with our buy.

Reviews for Presto CoolDaddy Electric Deep Fryer (Kitchen) When you take the meals out watch out to hang the deal with against the belowside. If you dangle deal with on the top the steam will burn you.

This is my introductory deep fryer. It's beautiful lightweight, however it worked well. I failed to fry lots at one time, however the outcomes have been excellent. Easy to scrub the detachable lid and basket.

I like the the fact that I can close the lid earlier than decreasing the food into the oil, and raise it up to let it drain prior to opening the lid.

Reviews for Presto 05442 CoolDaddy Cool Touch Electric Deep Fryer (Kitchen) This fryer is much better than the one I sold a quantity of yrs in the past [the fry baby]. The most effective word of warning I need to share with other people is to really remove the ice crystals from meals sooner than putting in the fryer. The ice crystals make the oil boil up an excessive quantity of and can lead to leakage. I had this occur the first time I fried, and seeing that then I rinse the rooster wings beneath cool water and shake em off earlier than putting them within the basket. If somebody is wondering, it takes a bottle and a half of of cooking oil to get to the "max fill line", which is where they recommend it to be.
Reviews for Presto 05442 CoolDaddy Cool Touch Electric Deep Fryer (Kitchen) A nice gadget. No spills, no over boils, no stink, no mess.

Ensure your meals is patted dry...or use a bit of much less oil if you don't want an over boil of grease popping out of the top.

It additionally says, to prevent food gunk sticking to pan..like hand batter fish don't use the basket. I simply put the basket down into the grease and drop the fish in. Didn't stick.

Easy to scrub. Lid lifts off, and it has a small catch for while you open the lid at the back of the unit.

I assume it used to be straightforward to scrub. Lid comes off, filter pops out, bowl elevates out and the bowl is immersable. Little scorching water and Dawn and like new...

It took about fifty one oz. of oil.

Order additional filters, it most effective comes with one.
Reviews for Presto 05442 CoolDaddy Cool Touch Electric Deep Fryer (Kitchen) This is a great little fryer. It prepare dinners enough for 2 servings at a time, don't overload. It has a pleasant record of options. The basket could be very handy, the temperature guage and ready mild work neatly and the lid with vents and a filter assist scale again the grease odor in your house. Some foods with numerous moisture won't fry well with the lid closed and even with the lid closed you're going to not get rid of the odor completely. I set this up on my range when I use it in order that I'm able to make use of the exhaust fan as neatly and then I am ready to get rid of all of the odor. It cleans up well and I'm in a position to retailer the oil in it between makes use of for weeks.

The previous evaluates obviously were now not using as that is meant. I suspect they had been overfilling with oil/food/both.
