I do not use the wire basket so have no thought if it functions ok or now not.
The conical form of the pot is very just right for optimum warmth switch and the fabric is good for warmth keeping. The internal aspect fence is high (deep?) enough to scale back oil splash--having the lid also further this cause. The vented lid is a wonderful thought for minimizing condensation--it worked!
Finally, the deal withs are superb for supporting the weight of the pot, especially when full of oil.

Until just a few weeks ago I had an electric deep fryer (Euro Pro) that did now not do the job extremely well and simply made up our minds to die whereas I was once making a house barbecue. No more electrics for me. Don't disregard to gain a thermometer should you do now not need one.
